Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
画风好，重打斗场面，剧情弱，剧情推动太生硬
看的出在打戏上下了很多功夫，剧本很差。知道是写实风格，但是人物设计区分度太差了，除了体型差以外，体型相近的主角，杀手，反派徒弟全程脸盲，后两我一度以为是一个人。人物粗边框在打斗近景的时候会造成视觉障碍啊，太花了。
很多动作其实真人都做不出来的 违反物理定律 当然制作很认真 鼓励 剧情也不是单纯的好人坏人
动作依旧没得说，文本依旧弱。（片尾：西门仁徒孙们“回头是岸”这么快，开得是摩托艇？
快点快点！！！我花钱买！
还有就是人物是3转2，物品还是普通3D，在人物和物品交互的时候很别扭，在美术风格统一上还要下点功夫。
武戏很认真，文戏全为引出武戏，故事也就无所谓了。画面渲染总感觉有边线断裂的不连续感。结尾音乐还以为是“星之所在”，囧。
生活流的情感自動化裝置難道就不是自動化裝置嗎？
没想到能在一部国产动画看到这么原汁原味的江湖，虽然剧情方面颇为薄弱，但是犀利畅快的打斗让人热血沸腾，特别是击杀敌人瞬间转换的水墨风和绽放的鲜血真是加分，叶清张艺赵恩宇黎泓何的配音真是梦回90年代的TVB武侠世界，妥妥的回忆。
给偷袭的人标出姓名是什么神操作？偷袭盲人，还对话？分不出人声差异能接招？动画片应该有想象力，不是高仿能力，剧本比画面更重要，点赞会误导创作，就跟古偶一样。也许想多了。

悲哀的是，在第一部里罗通和红娘就这么轻易地死了。
不知道你的敌人在哪，反正就是不快乐...
人物和背景不是一个画风，偶尔的五毛特效，有些出戏的TVB配音，文戏部分孱弱。但是，好钢用到刀刃上，动作戏部分简直爆炸，徒手打斗十分具有力量感，枪、刀、戟的打斗可以称的上漂亮，特别是大反派西门仁的一枪一刀那飘逸感真的绝了。整部片子一半以上的时间都是动作戏，真的是爽到不行。
多处泪流不止，让我想起了好多过去，资优生沦为差生，对母亲的不解与恨……26岁的我回忆的是年少时的我，代入的视角却越来越理解大人的不易。爱和恨真的离得太近太近了。
到目前为止最接近心目中武侠小说里武功对决场面的影视作品，有必要把金庸的作品都拍一遍，以前那些电视电影实在差距太大了。不足之处在于时间短了点，在人物表现上有欠缺。8/10分
