The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Life goes on. 有的时候就想逃避一切什么都不管了，孤独也是真的
太想念剧场了。本来看到简介的时候很疑惑，这么现实这么像新闻报道的故事用音乐剧表现不会很奇怪吗，看了以后震撼又感动。歌曲、表演、编排等等都很好，原卡官摄很好，要是有机会看现场就好了。
该剧本很有国际化视野，讲述美国911时，38架飞机被迫降落在加拿大Gander小镇，7000多名世界各地的旅客滞留在此，小镇居民的慷慨热情感动了他们，在这里他们找到了一生的爱情、友情，人与人之间由隔阂转为彼此信任，音乐剧1小时起进入高潮，后面全是燃点，音乐好听感人，感觉可以反复听好多遍，最喜欢女机长单人solo那段，太霸气了。
用巨大的、超越种族的爱与温暖包裹住了悲伤，被命运安排的这5天必将永刻于心中。演员的发挥、舞台的调度与音乐的配合堪称完美。原来这就是百老汇啊！
为世界四分五裂所叹息时，感谢善意将一切再汇聚成一起，为人性的光辉时刻摇旗呐喊。
