The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 感觉好久没有看过这么精彩的法庭戏了。而且还是智叔的遗作。
只能说新一代的港片编剧同新一代的香港演员一样青黄不接、乏善可陈，全剧都靠着老戏骨的支撑。

男二律师演的太水了吧，是带资进组吗？故事 演技 节奏不行，电影都不如电视剧，不如TVB 不如傲骨贤妻里的一集内容。
其实，挺好看的。有些程序太不正确了哈哈哈，但是让大鳄内部瓦解，很有东西。差不多也是起楼让政府搁置公屋李黄瓜式人物和儿子叫曾志威的装腔作势政客wow再严格点6.8其实绝对能有的，不解。

方中信依旧魅力不减，而曾江和廖启智都在2022年去世了，遗憾
比想象要好，就是最后有种神之手破案的感觉…
剧情拍的太一般了，也就是看看戏骨们的表演。
现在的香港电影能讲明白一个故事就已经很好了，而且看来看去，还是20年前这些的这些演员才有看点。故事的最后争议战胜邪恶，不过也还是要靠金钱，也还是要靠一些under table的手段，正义才能战胜邪恶。很残酷，但是很现实。
人设的体现还是弱了点
廖启智生前參與作品之一。這部戲劇情其實還可以，整體節奏緊湊。
虽然最后反转的手段比较不够给力，做假报告和收买黑警有点作弊的感觉，但整体还算不错的港式律政片。缺少重磅卡司和缺少动作元素，导致这部影片还是只能停留在表层，无法深入挖掘更吸引人的内幕。

尽管方中信的反转有些生硬，但还是比较符合客观。主要是策反了女死者的父亲。
作为律政剧，它把律师们当了空气；作为刑侦剧，它把警察们当了空气；作为主旋律剧，它把观众当了空气。三星给还在坚守香港电影的老戏骨。
